UGV is the vehicle which operates while in contact with the ground and without the on-board human presence

UGV is the vehicle which operates while in contact with the ground and without the on-board human presence. It can be used for many applications where it may be inconvenient, dangerous or impossible to have the human operator present. The vehicle is controlled wirelessly by his operator, either with direct visual observation or from a long distance with the use of sensors & view digital cameras.
The UGV’s have sets of sensors to observe the environment, and will either be semi-autonomously or pass the information to a human operator at a different location who will control the vehicle through teleoperation. The UGV is the land-based counterpart to unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned underwater vehicles. Unmanned robotics are being actively developed for both civilian and military use to perform a variety of dull, dirty, and dangerous activities.

The Robotic Forester is a system designed to automate the most crucial part of forest management – forest regeneration. Specific capabilities include planting, cleaning, and pre-commercial thinning. The Robotic Forester Planter saves the planted tree coordinates into a database and when it’s time for the cleaning operation the Robotic Forester Brushcutter already knows where the trees are planted and is able to avoid them.

Multiscope Forester Planter

The Multiscope Forester Planter is equipped with a modular planting payload with a capacity of 380 seedlings. Its planting speed is around 5-6.5 hours per hectare depending on the tree species and the terrain. The system is designed for a temperate climate zone.

Multiscope 3D

The Multiscope 3D can be used to determine the condition of mines that are inaccessible or too dangerous for humans. It uses 3D LiDARs too acquire a picture of the surrounding area.
In early 2019, the Estonian energy company Enefit utilized the Multiscope 3D to determine the condition of the pillars in a mine in which mining ended ten years ago.
For this mission the Multiscope was piloted underground using data coming from LiDARs and wide spectrum HDR cameras, however, autonomous operation can be applied in future projects.

Multiscope Transport

The Multiscope Transport is an ideal logistical tool for carrying equipment and material inside the mine or to and from the mine.
